About us
We are Alicja and Radek. We are both entomologists by education and teachers by profession. Several years ago, we decided to combine our various passions and created what has become a local attraction. We pride ourselves in our butterfly sanctuary’s distinct educational streak. Join us for a short presentation to learn about the basics of butterfly biology and ecology. Explore our rearing room to observe caterpillars at different stages of development. Take a peek through one of our microscopes to see a butterfly wing up-close. Finally, relax in the tropical habitat with butterflies fluttering around. Have you tried feeding one on the palm of your hand? Ask your guide how to do it safely.

Our butterfly sanctuary is open daily: Monday-Thursday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and Friday-Sunday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Currently bookings are available until the end of October 2024. For your comfort it is necessary to book an entry. Children above 3 years: 25 PLN

We will make sure you are assigned one that does. It will help if you let us know in advance.
There is a parking lot with plenty of spaces.

The Education and Recreation Center is located in an old limestone quarry. There are walking paths and nature trails in the area. There is a pond, an open-air swimming pool, a restaurant and playgrounds for children. You can spend a quality day with your family here.
